Slavery in Fostercare

"Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it."

Start with the good intentions of lawmakers who passed The Adoption and Safe Families Act for finding permanent homes for long term foster children and how it took states only one year to figure out that there was blank check funding attached to these children. That as each year passed the stakes became higher because of the clause in the law that states for a state to be eligible for funding they must increase the number of completed adoption over the previous calendar year or lose ALL the funding for the current calendar year.

This has created two nightmares:

A change in child protection agency goals from protecting children to an endless search for adoptable children.

AND

A new career in America: the serial adopter. Meaning persons who adopt and illegally rehome children for adoption subsidy check income.

The family is sacred. Our government was founded on the rights of citizens to live, work and worship as they choose. That includes raising their children. If a parent is found unable or unwilling to care for their child.....extended family should be encouraged and given EVERY opportunity to harbor that child within the family of origin structure. There are grieving grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who will never recover from the loss of a #TAKEN child. If a parent is addicted or abusive there should be intensive therapy, treatment and counseling to preserve any possibility of the parent-child bond.

Adopters do not want abused children.....causing CPS to be constantly on the hunt for adoptable children to fill funding quotas. This is morally wrong and illegal. The barter of human flesh for federal dollars is just as illegal as marching slaves across an auction block. You will see many similarities between that auction block and the "adoption parties" and galleries where a child's "best features" are paraded up and down a runway in much the same way that slaves were sold in colonial America.

Children are listed in a brochure or online with a photo. Their best "assets" are listed such as being pretty, handsome, outgoing, age, availability and if the child is part of a sibling group, healthy or smart.

I hardly need to remind you of the assets touted on the auction blocks of the South just one hundred and fifty years ago. But I will.

Africans that had been ripped from their homeland, family and culture were placed "between the decks" and shipped to an unknown location to be marched and displayed on an auction block. Their teeth, chest and testicle size, head shape, hands and lifting ability were examined minutely in front of prospective buyers like cattle. For women their child bearing ability, breast size, and skin color all determined their worth.

Slavery was one of the darkest and most shameful periods of American history.

Incentivized adopted and the manner in which these #TAKEN children is equally shameful and dark. These children are nothing more than chattel. Merchandise with a dollar value on their head. Much like the traditional slave.....they are utilized for profit to the counties that those lawmakers (mentioned above) represent.

At the end of their earning life for the state they are dumped in shelters and on the street to enter the next market: sex and human trafficking.

These are wolves at the door of the eighteenth birthday of a foster or adopted child. If they can get to them earlier....they do. These children have not been given life skills, are lonely and grieving. They are the perfect meal for the vultures of the sex trade, pedophiles and serial killers.

We look at this and say how is this happening in America? There are two answers.

We did not learn our lesson with the issue of the Emancipation Proclamation. We did not read the document. The desire to end the civil war shoved the reality of servitude under the rug to rear its ugly head in 21st century America under a new mantra: Child Protective Services. The barter of human flesh is illegal in America. Every time an adoption incentive OR an adoption subsidy check is issued....our government violates The Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.

I quote: Abolition of slavery Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce these article by appropriate legislation. December 6, 1865.

Simple. Clear. Powerful.

Ignored.....by the very lawmaker's who swore to protect and uphold The Constitution of the United States of America when they took their oath of office. Judges too take that oath. And promptly ignore it when they make decisions based in funding and not best interest.

We, THE PEOPLE, demand that our lawmaker's and judges obey the law of the land. A convention of states is not far off. As we gather to bring our government back under Constitutional Law.....the very FIRST issue that needs to be addressed is modern slavery as defined by the The Thirteenth Amendment.

Especially the bondage of children through detainment in foster care and their barter into the adoption industry, sex trade and human trafficking.
